So I just came back from Oahu for shooting yet another wedding. I’ve learned everyone who says they don’t like Hawaii are all liars. All of you. This really was one of the best trips I’ve had the opportunity to take in my life and I consider myself lucky enough and blessed to have done so. Other than enjoy the view and great food which helped me gain the unwanted, massive weight that attached to me coming back home, I was able to meet up with family and friends who I haven’t seen much of lately. But most importantly, I was able to meet my 9 month old niece, Kaili. She is by far the happiest baby I’ve ever seen and I miss her dearly since I left. My traveling companion was Tatiana Kaiser, a very close friend who also helped me shoot the wedding. We hiked to the top of mountains, swam with ginormous fish where we spotted an octopus and got kicked by a sea turtle (yes, you read that right), went to 5 different beaches, tried a number of different kinds of poke, got stung by a Portuguese Man O’War while body surfing, had good AND bad hawaiian shaved ice and had the time of our lives. Enjoy the pictures we took! Hopefully, they do some justice to the Hawaiian Islands and that they inspire all you liars to admit you would love to be there too.
Wow Adriel! Amazing shots. You did such a great job at capturing the beauty that was/is Oahu. I want to go back now! ok? Lets go! Really though, you are one of the most talented photographers I know, don’t ever stop showing people the world through your lens!
Thank you for coming with me!
